Terms of Service

These terms apply to all services provided by Seal & Send Document Services. By booking an appointment or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Services

Seal & Send Document Services provides in-person notary services, estate document notarization, and apostille handling for Georgia documents. Notarizations are performed by a Georgia notary public, in person only.

2. Not a law firm

Seal & Send Document Services is not a law firm. I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in Georgia. I do not give legal advice, prepare legal documents, choose documents for you, or explain what a document means or does. You are responsible for getting independent legal advice if you need it.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content and accuracy of your documents, for having them completed before your appointment, for bringing any required witnesses, and for making sure every signer has a valid, unexpired photo ID and is present.

4. Right to decline

I may decline to perform a notarization if identity can't be verified, a document is incomplete, a signer doesn't appear willing or aware of what they're signing, or the notarization would violate Georgia law. In those cases, the travel fee is kept.

5. Fees and payment

Current fees are listed on the pricing page. For mobile and estate appointments, the travel fee is collected when your appointment is confirmed and the remaining balance is due at the end of the appointment. Apostille orders are paid in full before submission to the state.

6. Rescheduling, cancellations, and no-shows

Appointments must be rescheduled or canceled at least 2 hours in advance. With less notice, or if you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the travel fee is kept.

7. Apostille handling

Apostilles and certifications are issued by the State of Georgia, not by Seal & Send Document Services. Processing times are set by the state and the mail. Acceptance of your document is decided by the receiving country or office. Please confirm their requirements before ordering.

8. Text messages

If you opt in, you may receive text messages about your appointments and orders, and, only if you separately opt in, marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Seal & Send Document Services is not responsible for delays or losses caused by the state, carriers, or third parties, or for any outcome related to the content or legal effect of your documents.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
